Verifiable service facts
FaxOnWeb explains the price, payment timing, document handling, delivery evidence, and service limits so you can decide whether it fits your fax.
Trust should come from specific operating rules
The statements below describe the current checkout and delivery workflow. They avoid claims about certifications, customer counts, or guarantees that FaxOnWeb cannot substantiate.
What FaxOnWeb commits to
- One-time, visible pricing
- The displayed price starts at USD 2.89 for up to 5 pages, then USD 0.39 per additional page. No FaxOnWeb account or subscription is required.
- Capture follows confirmed delivery
- PayPal authorizes the amount before transmission. FaxOnWeb captures it after the provider confirms delivery; a final failure starts an attempt to void an uncaptured authorization or refund an existing capture.
- Encrypted temporary retention
- Retained fax files use AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Deletion is attempted after confirmed delivery or final failure. Files still retained 7 days after upload enter retention reconciliation, and failed deletions are retried.
- Accepted is not called delivered
- Provider acceptance is an intermediate state. FaxOnWeb waits for the provider's final delivery result and allows one retry when an eligible first failure occurs.
Limits you should know
Clear limits are part of a trustworthy service. Review these before uploading a document or authorizing payment.
- Outbound fax only
- FaxOnWeb sends faxes but does not issue a virtual fax number, receive inbound faxes, provide fax-to-email receiving, or offer broadcast fax.
- No blanket compliance claim
- Technical controls are not a claim of certification under HIPAA, GDPR, or another regulatory framework. Users with specific duties must assess their own requirements.
- The sender verifies the destination
- Country selection and basic formatting checks do not prove that a number belongs to the intended recipient. Confirm the recipient fax line before paying.
A real support path for unresolved cases
If a delivery or payment recovery remains unresolved, contact support with the fax job reference shown in the browser. Do not email the fax document itself unless support explicitly requests it.
